Te Wiki o te Reo Maori

Te Tari Whakarere/ Flight Centre is celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori/ Māori Language Week. You might notice that some of our signs and posters have changed, and even our name - Te Tari Whakarere! Whakarere means ‘to make something fly’ and Tari is office. 

At Flight Centre, we believe in the importance of preserving indigenous culture and language all around the world, and our commitment starts here, at home. 

Every New Zealander can help strengthen our language. We’re hoping that more organisations, companies and community groups than ever will plan to take part in Māori Language Week 2021.
