Commonly known as Mo'Bay, Montego Bay is a major tourist destination and a significant port town. The tranquil bay is shaded by palm trees, populated by luxurious resorts and offers beautiful views of the Caribbean Ocean. Montego Bay's popularity with tourists has resulted in the town becoming the most modern place in Jamaica. Its trendy shopping strip along the coastline is also home to some of the best restaurants on the island.

Montego Bay cruises disembark at the Montego Bay pier and cruise terminal, just a few kilometres from downtown.

Away from the beach you can visit Rose Hall, the most famous great house in Jamaica. Built in 1778, the now-restored house resides on a sugar plantation and has a fascinating history.
