Dallas-Fort Worth Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. The airport is the main hub for Qantas alliance partner American Airlines who offer quick connections to points throughout the U.S.A., Europe, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
The “big D” or “Lone Star City”; call it what you like but Dallas is no ordinary town. One stereotypical view of this great city might be of swaggering cowboys in ten-gallon hats and big belt buckles. While it’s still possible to see a few good ol’ country boys, Dallas is a city with a serious side and visitors quickly find that its business, culture and the arts that make this great city tick.
With its south-central location Dallas emerged as a major transportation hub from the late 1800’s and with one of the world’s busiest airports, that is no different today. From cotton and trade to big oil and energy, Dallas thrived. And while this may be a corporate mecca, Dallas is a place that loves its entertainment too. The Dallas Aquarium is one of the nations best and the Arbotretum and Botanical Gardens highight some of the most beautiful urban scenery in Texas. From major league sports to glittering upscale shopping centres and world class museums and performance halls, Dallas is a city that has it all.
