Cabin Classes
Economy
Economy cabins contain seats with a pitch of 31 inches and 9 inch seat-back screens with hand set controls. The in-flight menu includes fresh entrees, salads and a choice of mains and desserts. Seat-back screens feature audio/video on demand entertainment systems offering 31 digital options and a music library of more than 60 CDs.
Business
Business cabins contain lie-flat cocoon seats with a pitch of 60 inches, in-seat power supply and 10.4 inch arm mounted LCD touch monitors. The in-flight menu includes a choice of canapés, hors d'oeuvres, a choice of 3 mains, a selection of cheeses and dessert. Beverages such as Brut Champagne, French wines and a range of spirits are also complimentary. Screens feature audio/video on demand entertainment systems offering 31 digital options and a music library of more than 60 CDs.
Baggage
Economy passengers are allowed 1 piece of 7kg hand luggage, 1 piece of 15kg (each) checked baggage when flying to Rodrigues and 1 piece of 23kg checked baggage for all other destinations. Business passengers are allowed 1 piece of 7kg hand luggage, 3 pieces of 23kg (each) checked baggage when flying to Europe and 1 piece of 23kg checked baggage for all other destinations.
Check-in Options
Air Mauritius recommends passengers check-in at the allocated check-in desks at least 3 hours before departure.
Rewards Program
The Kestralflyer rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Air Mauritius. Accumulated points can be used towards receiving benefits including flights, upgrades and extra baggage.
Lounges
Air Mauritius's Amédée Maingard Lounge is located at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius. Lounge facilities include business facilities, a television, internet kiosks, wi-fi access, kids play facilities, food and beverages. Business Class passengers have access to the lounge. Lounge passes can also be purchased.
