Cabin Classes

Economy

Economy cabins contain seats with a pitch ranging from 31 to 33 inches and a width of 18 to 19 inches depending on the aircraft. All international aircraft, except the B767-300, feature personal 8.9-inch touch screens, in-seat power supply and USB ports. Passengers are provided with a pillow and blanket. The in-flight menu includes a hot meal after take-off with additional services depending on flight times and routing. Air Canada uses an audio/video on demand entertainment system offering more than 300 hours of XM Satellite Radio, movies, TV shows, sports and games.

Executive First Service

Executive First Service cabins contain mini suites with full flat beds that feature 12-inch touch screens, in-seat power supply, USB ports and lumbar support. Passengers are provided pillows, blankets and amenity kits. The in-flight menu includes a selection of hot meals and premium beverages. Air Canada uses an audio/video on demand entertainment system offering more than 300 hours of XM Satellite Radio, movies, TV shows, sports and games.

Baggage

Economy passengers are allowed 1 piece of 10kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 23kg (each) checked baggage when flying to South America, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the Caribbean and 1 piece of 23kg checked baggage for all other destinations. Executive First Service passengers are allowed 1 piece of 10kg hand luggage and 3 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage.

Check-in Options

Air Canada offers mobile and web check-in from 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure time. If checking in at the airport, check-in closes 75 minutes before departure time when flying to Tel Aviv, and 60 minutes before departure time for all other destinations.

Rewards Program

The Aeroplane rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Air Canada, Jazz and other airline partners, or purchase other travel products and services online. Accumulated points can be used to redeem flights and enjoy onboard and airport travel perks with Air Canada, Jazz and other airline partners. Points can also be redeemed for other Aeroplane rewards.

Lounges

Air Canada's Maple Leaf lounges are located at all major airports across Canada and at Los Angeles, Paris and London international airports. Maple Leaf lounges include Sony High Definition screens along with Bell TV HD programming, complimentary wireless internet to select Air Canada customers, Hewlett Packard business facilities and conference rooms in select locations. Maple Leaf lounges also offer complimentary light snacks and a range of beverages including local beer on tap, cappuccino and espresso. Lounges are available to Executive First Service passengers, Maple Leaf club members and Air Canada Super Elite and Elite members.
